1.) Please be respectful. We are all one big family while we are here. This means no put downs, no out of character fighting, and no childish arguing. We can all be mature about things and not act like a 4 year old throwing a tantrum because something didn't go your way. This goes doubly for arguments with Admins. If an Admin makes a ruling, it is law. The site's best interests are in our hearts, and in the end, your best interests too. If you have any concerns or complications, please contact us through PM.
2.) Stay in character. (Unless in the cbox or OOC sections of course.) If you can't stick with a canon's personality, please, either pick one that you can or make an original character. We don't need Vivi running about with an unnatural thirst for blood and death. It's just not natural!!!
3.) Stay active. If for some reason you cannot continue with the forum for any length of time, you must alert an administrator and/or post in the vacations thread or risk having your account deleted. You must also make every monthly activity check (Unless you have posted in the vacations thread) or risk losing your characters.
- Activity checks take place on the 5th and end on the 20th of each month. After the deadline, I will be deleting all who have failed to post.
NOTICE: In respect to people picking up dropped characters; In-Game History and Memory of a dropped character is wiped as soon as they are dropped. Meaning any attacks/techniques/relationships they acquired during their time controlled by a particular person will be "forgotten" and they will be given a clean slate. This makes it easier for the player to pick up a canon character and keeps staff from having to archive months worth of posts for them to read up on, which no one wants to do anyway. There may be exceptions for plot-centric characters, but the admin are pretty flexible in that respect. If you wish to keep the memories and actions of a character once owned, please inform an admin.
4.) Relationships: There will be no non-canon siblings of canons. No, you may not be Garnet's brother or anything like that. By brother, we also mean sister, cousin, third aunt twice removed or any other not-represented-by-canon family.
Non-Canon relationships will be allowed if;
A) they are permitted by both/all parties involved (If the characters already have canon love interests and those characters have players, they may have a say in whether the relationship is permissible or not.)
B) ALL NON-CANON AND NEW RELATIONSHIPS HAVE TO HAPPEN IN REAL TIME! THERE IS NO "LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT" ON THIS FORUM AS FAR AS NON-CANON PAIRINGS GO! If either partner already has another canon partner, you have to go through a thread of breaking up (realistically as possible) with that character before going and jumping into a relationship with another. Keep the triangles as few and far between as possible.
We would PREFER CANON relationships to be prevalent. If it becomes rampant or just ridiculous, we'll step in and either remove characters or go through the corrective action system, explained below. We don't want to have to micro manage this site, but we will if we must.
Keep your characters in character for their relationships. It's that kind of craziness that will make us want to micromanage everything you do. Vivi doesn't go hit on every girl he sees. Likewise, Garnet doesn't fawn over every hunky guy she meets. Keep it real.

5.) No copycat characters. This includes no characters that 'look like Freya's only..' or 'dress like Garnet's but..'. Please keep all OCs ORIGINAL.

8.) Post Requirements: This is a very literate site. The minimal role-play post length for this site is two paragraphs. That is counted as at least five sentences per paragraph. Sentences consist of a subject and an action, with proper capitalization and punctuation. Spelling isn't required, but it helps make it easier to understand. Just keep in mind what you would prefer to read. Neat and legible with all the basics.
The smaller your post, the harder it is for others to role-play with you. Please bear this in mind.
9.) Dialogue: When posting, please use color when your character is speaking. It helps the dialogue to stand out from the rest of the paragraph and makes conversation easier to carry on.
Example: Zidane walked up to his friends. "Hey guys!" He declared happily.

10.) Imagery and Pictures : Images posted on the site must not be offensive. Given the fanart images people make of this game, it's sort of obvious why this rule is necessary. The farthest I'm willing to allow is simple romance: kissing, hugging, etc. or battle poses. Unless it is absolutely necessary, we don't want to see a lot of blood and there is no reason for gore. You can't please everyone, I know this. If problems arise, the staff will step in to resolve the issue. If you repeatedly disobey this rule, a picture will be selected by staff for you.
If you feel the need to further rebel and continue choosing images that offend, then it will be seen as trolling and a ban will be initiated.
11.) Personal Conflicts: Any out of character conflicts between members that take place onsite should be reported to the staff immediately. If true hostilities cannot be calmed, the members in question will be banned temporarily from the forum as a warning. It's not hard to avoid each other. If it truly cannot be avoided, measures will be taken.
The reason for this rule is simple. We've all seen sites that have fallen into Turmoil due to conflict amongst it's players. We want to avoid that at all costs. Conflict in character is fun. It furthers plots and builds characters. Out of Character Conflict in the c-box or personal plot threads is not acceptable.
If you have a problem with something someone is doing, check with an Admin.
If you want to do something big and you're not sure if the plot allows for it, check with an Admin.
